Year 3 Olympic Board Game!

SHINE’s CEPYr3 students had a very creative week. Related to their unit 6 topic, they created their own Olympic board game. It shows the different Olympic Games and the medals you can win. Do you want to join us and play? Do you think you can win a golden medal?

Helping Hands Cambodia at SHINE

Last week SHINE welcomed Sopheap from Helping Hands Cambodia. He came to work and observe our teachers of Prep to gain more knowledge and experience in teaching and classroom management techniques. We were happy to assist him.

Activities in Reception Class

SHINE’s reception students are 3-4 years old and our youngest learners. Because of their young age they have a short concentration span and so the teacher needs to frequently rotate the activities to stimulate their interest. Different activities are chosen in such a way that they also help to develop the fine motor skills of our students. On top of that studying in reception also means having fun.

Thank you Reaksa!

Teacher assistants play a very important role in the classroom. They don’t only help to create a save environment for the students to study, but they support the students in their learning and reduce the workload of the teacher. Our preschool teacher assistant Reaksa is loved by her students and every morning she welcomes them with warm enthusiasm to start a fresh and active day.

CEP Turning old newspapers into something new!

In our society a lot of paper is wasted. Especially newspapers, people read them one time and throw them out. But the SHINE’s CEPYr2 students found an interesting and clever way to use them. They collected old newspapers and turned them into a new trendsetter.

Watch what they actually made!

New Student in GBP

Mr. Dy Thun is a new student at SHINE, currently studying Training The Trainer in our business programme.

Here is what Dy had say about studying at SHINE:

"I have studied at SHINE for 6 weeks, and I very much enjoy the class and Kevin's facilitation. All of the facilities in the class are very nice, very comfortable and it's a good environment to study. SHINE also provides me a good coffee break time.
All of the other participants have a good attitude, bring good experiences to the class, and everyone participates in the group work. Although my English is not so good, I easily understand the materials and have improved a lot."

Thank you Dy for studying at SHINE. Hope to see you for our Sales module starting on Saturday, February 20th.
